Philine Reimer *1995 studied Applied Theatre Studies in Gießen and participated in theatre projects across Europe, in Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin, and Weimar.

From 2021 to 2025 she completed a postgraduate diploma at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Since 2020, her focus has been on filmmaking. Together with editor and documentary filmmaker Marie Falke, she created her first documentary May in Cologne. With director and co-writer Jon Grandpierre, she has developed several projects, including the mid-length feature Love in Vain, in which she also performs.

In 2024 she received graduation film funding from the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW for her film 1000 Arten meinen Vater umzubringen.
